Your Data, Your Control

At ToyHuntr, we believe you should have full control over your data. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can manage or delete it.

What Data We Collect

Account Information

  • Email address (for account authentication)
  • Display name and profile photo (optional)
  • Account preferences and settings

Collection Data

  • Items in your collection (names, descriptions, photos)
  • Condition notes and pricing information
  • Collection organization and categories
  • Activity history and achievements

Usage Data

  • App usage statistics (for improving the app)
  • Device information (for compatibility)
  • Error logs (for bug fixes)

Syndicate and Social Data (if you opt in)

  • Feed posts, captions, photos, comments, and reactions
  • Direct and group messages, including convention group chats
  • Follows, friends, friend requests, and discover/leaderboard participation
  • Syndicate privacy settings (display name visibility, friend request preferences)
  • Reports you submit and related moderation records
  • Community Standards consent record (version, timestamp, platform)

Syndicate is optional. You can use collections, RADR, and other non-social features without joining or without sharing display names in the social layer. Manage Syndicate visibility in the app's Syndicate and Privacy settings.

How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and maintain the ToyHuntr service
  • To sync your collection across your devices
  • To improve app performance and fix bugs
  • To send important service updates (you can opt out)
  • To provide customer support
  • To operate Syndicate when you opt in, enforce Community Standards, and deliver social notifications

We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide our services (for example, Firebase for data storage and sync, and Google Gemini for automated Syndicate content moderation). See our Privacy Policy for details.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data at any time through the app
  • Export your collection data (available in app settings)
  • Correct inaccurate data by editing it in the app
  • Delete your account and all associated data (see form below)
  • Opt out of non-essential communications
  • Control Syndicate visibility and friend requests in app settings
  • Report content that violates Community Standards

Request Account Deletion

If you would like to delete your ToyHuntr account and all associated data, please fill out the form below. This action cannot be undone. All of your data, including your collections, photos, Syndicate posts and messages, social connections, reports, and account information, will be permanently deleted.

⚠️ Important: Before requesting deletion, you may want to export your collection data. You can do this from the app settings. Once your account is deleted, we cannot recover your data.

This must match the email address used to create your ToyHuntr account

What Happens After You Submit

  1. We'll verify your email address matches your account
  2. We'll send a confirmation email to verify the request
  3. Once confirmed, your account and all data will be permanently deleted
  4. You'll receive a final confirmation email when deletion is complete
  5. Deletion typically occurs within 7-14 business days
