What is ToyHuntr?

ToyHuntr is a mobile app for toy collectors to organize, track, and value collectible items. It is available on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android. Manage your collection with photos, condition notes, pricing data, and sync when you are signed in.

How do I add items to my collection?

You can add items manually by creating a collection and adding items with photos, condition, price, and other metadata. Premium users can use the Auto-Fill feature to automatically populate figure data from our comprehensive database.

Does ToyHuntr work offline?

Yes, ToyHuntr supports offline access. Your collection data is cached locally, so you can view and manage your collection without an internet connection. Changes sync automatically when you are back online. Offline access is available on both iOS and Android.

What is a HUNTRID?

HUNTRID is a unique identifier assigned to each ToyHuntr user. It serves as your collector identity and includes role-based badges. You receive your HUNTRID automatically when you sign up.

How does the badge system work?

ToyHuntr features a comprehensive badge system that rewards collecting milestones and achievements. Earn badges for adding items, completing collections, reaching XP milestones, attending events, and more. Badges are displayed on your profile and tied to your HUNTRID, showcasing your collector accomplishments.

Is ToyHuntr free to use?

Yes. ToyHuntr is free to download and use for core collecting: collections, photos, sold-price hunting, RADR for conventions and toy shows, and optional Syndicate. Premium (HUNTR+) unlocks extras such as Auto-Fill from ToyHub, higher limits where free caps apply, and other power features. Exact limits can change; check in-app for what is included on your account.

What is free vs Premium?

Free covers collections, Hunt sold prices, RADR show discovery, offline cache, and opt-in Syndicate. Premium is for collectors who want faster catalog entry (Auto-Fill), fewer limits, and advanced tools. You can use ToyHuntr seriously on free; upgrade when you hit a limit or want Auto-Fill.

Can I sync my collection across multiple devices?

Yes, ToyHuntr uses Firebase for real-time synchronization. When you sign in with the same account on iPhone and Android, your collection stays aligned across devices.

What is RADR?

RADR is ToyHuntr's companion for conventions, toy shows, and expos. Use it to discover nearby and upcoming shows and to take your collection tools with you on the show floor, including when Wi-Fi is unreliable. Learn more on the RADR page on this site.

What is Syndicate?

Syndicate is ToyHuntr's optional social layer in version 3.0. It includes the Feed (posts, comments, and reactions), Discover (search, trending, and leaderboards), Messages (direct and group chat, including convention group chats), and related notifications. You agree to Community Standards before joining.

Do I have to use Syndicate?

No. Syndicate is opt-in. You can manage collections, use RADR, hunt for items, and use other non-social features without joining Syndicate or agreeing to the Community Standards gate.

How does privacy work in Syndicate?

By default, other users see your HuntrID in Syndicate. In app settings under Syndicate and Privacy, you can choose whether to show your display name in the feed or at conventions and whether to accept friend requests. You can report posts, profiles, or messages that violate Community Standards.

Will ToyHuntr integrate with conventions and expos?

RADR already helps you find and plan around conventions, toy shows, and expos inside the app. We are also working on deeper ticketing and event-platform integrations (including Ticket Tailor and ShowClix) so organizers and attendees can connect show workflows to ToyHuntr. Some organizer tooling may also connect through ConventionOS; collector-facing show discovery and floor tools remain in ToyHuntr / RADR.

Is in-app trading coming to ToyHuntr?

Yes, in-app trading is in development. You'll be able to connect with other collectors, negotiate trades, manage wishlists, and securely trade collectibles directly within the app. This feature will make it easier than ever to find and trade your grails.

Can I use ToyHuntr for collectibles other than toys?

Yes. While ToyHuntr is launching with a focus on the toy collecting community, it works great for all types of collectibles including comics, trading cards, sports memorabilia, vintage items, art, coins, stamps, and more. The same powerful tracking and organization features apply to any collectible you want to manage.

Is ToyHuntr useful for convention and expo goers?

Yes. Use RADR to find conventions, toy shows, and expos, then use ToyHuntr on the floor for prices, duplicates, and offline access. Track finds, manage your wishlist, and earn badges for events where supported.

Can event organizers and convention companies use ToyHuntr?

Yes. ToyHuntr helps organizers engage collectors through RADR, badges, and show-floor tools. Deeper ticketing and event-platform integrations are on the roadmap.

What types of collectibles can I track in ToyHuntr?

ToyHuntr is designed for toy collectors first, but you can track any type of collectible including action figures, toys, comics, trading cards, sports memorabilia, vintage items, collectible art, coins, stamps, and more. The flexible collection system adapts to whatever you collect.

Ready to start the hunt?

Free on iPhone and Android. Organize your collection, use RADR on the floor, and join Syndicate only if you want it.
